وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ

7. And when the human souls are paired [6].

Surah Name : At-Takweer   Surah Number : 81   Ayat Number: 7

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ

14.Then each soul shall know [11] what it has brought forward.

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ

5. Each human soul then knows what it forwarded and what it left behind[3]

Surah Name : Al-Infitar   Surah Number : 82   Ayat Number: 5

إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٞ

4. There is no soul without a guardian [4] over it.

Surah Name : At-Tariq   Surah Number : 86   Ayat Number: 4

يَـٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ

27. O you contented human soul [28].

Surah Name : Al-Fajr   Surah Number : 89   Ayat Number: 27

وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا

7. And by the soul and Him Who perfected [7] it.

Surah Name : Ash-Shams   Surah Number : 91   Ayat Number: 7

فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا

8. Then inspired (the human soul) with all the wickedness and piety (8).

Surah Name : Ash-Shams   Surah Number : 91   Ayat Number: 8

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ

3. He created (the soul of) mankind(Muhammad).

Surah Name : Ar-Rahman   Surah Number : 55   Ayat Number: 3

فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسٞ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

54. And on that day no soul shall be wronged and you shall not be rewarded except what you used to do [85].

Surah Name : Ya-Sin   Surah Number : 36   Ayat Number: 54

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ قَالُواْ فِيمَ كُنتُمۡۖ قَالُواْ كُنَّا مُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ قَالُوٓاْ أَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ أَرۡضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٗ فَتُهَاجِرُواْ فِيهَاۚ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَسَآءَتۡ مَصِيرًا

97. Those whose souls are taken by the angels while they were wronging themselves [311], the angels will ask them, "In what condition were you?" They will reply, "We were weak in the land." The angels will respond, "Was not Allah's earth spacious enough for you to emigrate [312]?" Then the abode of such people is Hell, and what an evil destination it is.

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 97

وَلَا تُجَٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمٗا

107. And dispute not on behalf of those who deceive their souls [338]. Surely Allah loves not one who is a habitual, deceitful sinner.

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 107

وَمَن يَكۡسِبۡ إِثۡمٗا فَإِنَّمَا يَكۡسِبُهُۥ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا

111. And whoso earns (commits) a sin, then he commits it against his own soul [345]. And Allah is Ever Knowing, Most Wise.

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 111

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَٰدِعُهُمۡ وَإِذَا قَامُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ قَامُواْ كُسَالَىٰ يُرَآءُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَلَا يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

142. Surely, the hypocrites (think to) deceive [420] Allah. But, He is deceiving them. And when they stand up for prayer, they stand up with a defeated [421] soul (i.e., lazily), making a show to the people, and they remember not Allah, but little.

Surah Name : An-Nisa   Surah Number : 4   Ayat Number: 142

وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

48. And fear the day when no soul will avail another in the least, nor will intercession [91] be accepted from it, nor will any ransom be received from it, nor will they (non-believers) be helped.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 48

وَظَلَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰۖ كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡۚ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ

57. And We shaded you with clouds and sent down upon you Manna and Salwa [quails] [102], saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for you." And they did not wrong Us at all, but they wronged their own souls [103].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 57

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَقَفَّيۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ بِٱلرُّسُلِۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَا عِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدۡنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلۡقُدُسِۗ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُكُمُ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ فَفَرِيقٗا كَذَّبۡتُمۡ وَفَرِيقٗا تَقۡتُلُونَ

87.[161] And verily We bestowed upon Musa the Scripture and then appointed Messengers of Allah (Rasools) in sequence. And we clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit (the angel bestowed upon Isa, son of Mariam Jibraeel) (162). But is it (not) that every time a Messenger came to you with what your souls did not desire, you became arrogant? (163). falsify a group (Messengers of Allah) and you kill another group (164).

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 87

وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

123. And be mindful [245] of the Day when no soul will compensate for another soul [246] at all. No ransom will be accepted, nor will any intercession benefit the disbelievers, nor will they be helped [247].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 123

أُحِلَّ لَكُمۡ لَيۡلَةَ ٱلصِّيَامِ ٱلرَّفَثُ إِلَىٰ نِسَآئِكُمۡۚ هُنَّ لِبَاسٞ لَّكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لِبَاسٞ لَّهُنَّۗ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمۡ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَعَفَا عَنكُمۡۖ فَٱلۡـَٰٔنَ بَٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۚ وَكُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡخَيۡطُ ٱلۡأَبۡيَضُ مِنَ ٱلۡخَيۡطِ ٱلۡأَسۡوَدِ مِنَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِۖ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ ٱلصِّيَامَ إِلَى ٱلَّيۡلِۚ وَلَا تُبَٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمۡ عَٰكِفُونَ فِي ٱلۡمَسَٰجِدِۗ تِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَقۡرَبُوهَاۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

187. It has been made lawful [419] for you during the night preceding fasting to be intimate with your wives. They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive [420] yourselves. He has accepted your repentance and pardoned you [421]. So now, be intimate with them and seek what Allah has decreed [422] for you. And eat and drink [423] until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread of dawn. Then complete [424] the fast until nightfall. But do not be intimate with your wives [425] while you are in secluded devotion (I'tikaaf) in the mosques. These are the limits of Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah clarify His verses for the people so that they may become pious.

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 187

وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا تُرۡجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

281. And fear the day in which you shall be made to return to Allah [746]. Then, every soul will be compensated for what it earned. And they shall not be wronged [747].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 281

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرٗا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

286. Allah places not a burden on any soul, but to the extent [773] of his strength. Whatever good is earned is useful for it and whatever bad is earned is a loss [774] for it. O our Lord! Do not impose blame on us if we forget or miss Your standard. O our Lord! Place [775] not a heavy burden on us as You had placed on those before us [776]. O our Lord! Place not a burden on us of which we have no strength [777] to bear. And pardon us, and forgive us and have mercy [778] on us. You alone are our Protector, so help us against the disbelievers.
