89. He said, "Are you aware of what you did to Yusuf and his brother [190] when you were ignorant [191]?"

Surely my Lord is Subtle in His decree [215], and He is the All-Knowing, the Wise."

And do not strike your feet forcibly on the ground so that hidden adornment [73] may be known. And repent to Allah, O you who believe [75], altogether, so that you may achieve prosperity.

The people deemed me to be weak and were about to kill me [331]. So do not make the enemies to laugh at me and place me not with the unjust people."

12. O believers! Avoid most suspicions [33] Certainly some suspicions are sins [34]. And do not search for faults (35) and do not backbite (36) one another. Would any one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Surely you would hate it (37). And fear Allah. Certainly, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

5. Call [8] them after their fathers. This is more justified in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers, then they are brothers in faith, and your friends[9]. And there is no sin on you regarding which you made a mistake unintentionally (10). But that is a sin which you may commit with the intention(11) of your heart. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

18.Indeed, Allah knows those of you who hinder others (from Holy War) and say to their brothers, come (39) to our side. And they come not to the battle but a little (40).

103. And hold fast [228] to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided among yourselves [229]. Remember the favors of Allah upon you [230], when you were enemies, and He brought your hearts together in love, making you brothers by His grace [231]. You were on the edge of the Fire, and He rescued you from it [232]. Thus, Allah makes His verses clear to you so that you may be guided.

156. O you who believe! Do not be like the infidels who said about their brothers [350] when they traveled through the land or went out for holy war that had they been with us, they would not have died [351] and not have been slain, in order that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts [352]. And Allah gives life and causes death [353]. And Allah sees what you do.
