    25. Except boiling water and the stinking yellow liquid of Hell, as befitting retribution.

    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡقِصَاصُ فِي ٱلۡقَتۡلَىۖ ٱلۡحُرُّ بِٱلۡحُرِّ وَٱلۡعَبۡدُ بِٱلۡعَبۡدِ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰۚ فَمَنۡ عُفِيَ لَهُۥ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ شَيۡءٞ فَٱتِّبَاعُۢ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَأَدَآءٌ إِلَيۡهِ بِإِحۡسَٰنٖۗ ذَٰلِكَ تَخۡفِيفٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَةٞۗ فَمَنِ ٱعۡتَدَىٰ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

    178. O you who believe! Prescribed upon you is legal retribution [387] for those murdered: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female [388]. But whoever is pardoned by his brother [389], then let there be a suitable payment to him (the heir of the deceased) with good conduct. This is indeed a concession from your Lord and a Mercy [390]. He who transgresses [391] thereafter, then for him is a painful torment.

    Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 178

    ٱلشَّهۡرُ ٱلۡحَرَامُ بِٱلشَّهۡرِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ وَٱلۡحُرُمَٰتُ قِصَاصٞۚ فَمَنِ ٱعۡتَدَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَٱعۡتَدُواْ عَلَيۡهِ بِمِثۡلِ مَا ٱعۡتَدَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

    194. The sacred month is for the sacred month [442], and for all violations is legal retribution. So, whoever has violated you, then violate [443] him in the same way that he has violated you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with the God-fearing [444].

    Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 194

    وَٱتَّقُواْ فِتۡنَةٗ لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمۡ خَآصَّةٗۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

    25. And fear the trial [53] that will not befall those of you alone who are unjust. And know that Allah is severe in punishment.

    Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 25

    وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبۡعَثَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَن يَسُومُهُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيعُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

    167. And when your Lord declared that until the Day of Resurrection, He would send against them those who would inflict upon them a terrible punishment [380]. Indeed, your Lord is swift in retribution [381] and surely He is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful.

    Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 167

    إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ

    14. Every one of them treated the Prophets as liars. So, My retribution became inevitable [24],

    مِن قَبۡلُ هُدٗى لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَنزَلَ ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَۗ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ

    4. Before this[3], as guidance for mankind, and He bestowed the Criterion [4]. Surely, those who deny the revelations of Allah [5], they will have a severe punishment. Allah is the Almighty, Lord of retribution.

    Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 4

    أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ أَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَعۡنَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    87. Their retribution is a curse from Allah and of angels and of people, all together [194],

    Surah Name : Al Imran   Surah Number : 3   Ayat Number: 87

    وَمَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّۗ أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٖ ذِي ٱنتِقَامٖ

    37.And whom Allah guides, for him there is none to mislead [92]. Is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Master of Retribution?

    Surah Name : Az-Zumar   Surah Number : 39   Ayat Number: 37

    وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡۚ قَالَ أَلَيۡسَ هَٰذَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَاۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

    30. And if you could see when they shall be made to stand before their Lord [56]. He will say: "Is not this (second life) the truth?" [57] They will say: "Yes, by our Lord." He will say: "Then now taste the punishment as a retribution for your infidelity" [58].

    Surah Name : Al-Anam   Surah Number : 6   Ayat Number: 30

    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَقۡتُلُواْ ٱلصَّيۡدَ وَأَنتُمۡ حُرُمٞۚ وَمَن قَتَلَهُۥ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدٗا فَجَزَآءٞ مِّثۡلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ ٱلنَّعَمِ يَحۡكُمُ بِهِۦ ذَوَا عَدۡلٖ مِّنكُمۡ هَدۡيَۢا بَٰلِغَ ٱلۡكَعۡبَةِ أَوۡ كَفَّـٰرَةٞ طَعَامُ مَسَٰكِينَ أَوۡ عَدۡلُ ذَٰلِكَ صِيَامٗا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِۦۗ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَۚ وَمَنۡ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ

    95. O believers! Kill not game while you are in a pilgrim's garb [260]. And whoso among you kills intentionally [261], his compensation is that he should give a like animal from amongst the cattle as judged by two just persons among you. This offering should reach the Ka'bah. Or, as an alternate compensation, he should give food to some needy persons or should fast [262], to its equivalent [263], so that he may taste the enormity of his deed. Allah has pardoned what happened in the past. But, if anyone repeats it, Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Mighty in exacting retribution [264].

    Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 95

    إِنَّمَا جَزَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓاْ أَوۡ يُصَلَّبُوٓاْ أَوۡ تُقَطَّعَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَأَرۡجُلُهُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٍ أَوۡ يُنفَوۡاْ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ ذَٰلِكَ لَهُمۡ خِزۡيٞ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

    33. Indeed, the only retribution for those who fight against Allah and His Messenger [113], and strive to cause mischief in the earth, is none but that they be killed or crucified, or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides, or that they be exiled from the land [114]. This is for them a disgrace in the world, and in the Hereafter, there is severe punishment for them.

    Surah Name : Al-Maidah   Surah Number : 5   Ayat Number: 33

    فَلۡيَضۡحَكُواْ قَلِيلٗا وَلۡيَبۡكُواْ كَثِيرٗا جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ,

    82. Let them laugh a little and weep [228] much, as a reward for what they used to earn.

    Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 82

    سَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبۡتُمۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لِتُعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَأَعۡرِضُواْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُمۡ رِجۡسٞۖ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ,

    95. They will swear by Allah to you when you return [260] to them, so that you may turn away [261] from them. So turn away from them [262]; indeed, they are impure [263], and their abode is Hell as a recompense for what they used to earn [264].

    Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 95

    فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِفَ وَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٖ

    47. So never think that Allah will break His promise to His messengers [105]. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, and Lord of Retribution.

    Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 47

    وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

    13. Indeed, We destroyed the generations before you when they [40] wronged, and their messengers came to them with clear signs [41]. But they would not believe. Thus, We recompense the people who are criminals.

    Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 13

    وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةِۭ بِمِثۡلِهَا وَتَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۡ عَاصِمٖۖ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغۡشِيَتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ قِطَعٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مُظۡلِمًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

    27. And those who earn evil [81], the retribution for an evil deed is its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them [82]. They will have no protector against Allah [83]; it will be as if their faces are covered with patches of the dark night [84]. It is they who are the inhabitants of Hell, to dwell therein forever [85].

    Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 27

    ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ هَلۡ تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡسِبُونَ

    52. Then it will be said to the wrongdoers: "Taste [148] the everlasting punishment. You will be recompensed only for what you used to earn [149]".

    Surah Name : Yunus   Surah Number : 10   Ayat Number: 52

    مَتَٰعٞ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ

    70. They have achieved little credit [193] only in this world. They are to return to Us. Then We shall make them taste a severe punishment [194] as the retribution of their infidelity [195].
