    14.But they denied it, and hamstrung [14] her. So their Lord destroyed them for their sin, which completely swept the town [15].

    وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُفۡسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡحَرۡثَ وَٱلنَّسۡلَۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَسَادَ

    205. And when he turns back, he runs about spreading mischief in the earth, and destroys crops and human lives. And, surely, Allah does not like such mischief.

    Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 205

    يَمۡحَقُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّبَوٰاْ وَيُرۡبِي ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ

    276. Allah destroys interest [735] and increases charities [736]. And Allah loves not any ungrateful big sinner [737].

    Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 276

    قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَهۡلَكَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوۡ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

    28. Say, "Have you considered: if Allah destroys [55] me and those with me, or if He has mercy [56] on us, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"

    Surah Name : Al-Mulk   Surah Number : 67   Ayat Number: 28

    وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَعَلۡنَا لِمَهۡلِكِهِم مَّوۡعِدٗا

    59. And those towns We destroyed when they committed injustices, and We had appointed a fixed time for their destruction [141].

    مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

    6. No town, which We destroyed, had believed before them; will they then believe [11]?

    ثُمَّ صَدَقۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡوَعۡدَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

    9. Then We made Our promise good [16] to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased and destroyed the extravagant.

    Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 9

    وَكَمۡ قَصَمۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٖ كَانَتۡ ظَالِمَةٗ وَأَنشَأۡنَا بَعۡدَهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ

    11. And how many towns that were oppressing [18], We utterly destroyed and raised up another people after them [19].

    Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 11

    وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَ

    95. And it is forbidden to town, which We have destroyed, that they returned [148].

    Surah Name : Al-Anbiya   Surah Number : 21   Ayat Number: 95

    وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُهۡلِكُوٓاْ أَهۡلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِۖ إِنَّ أَهۡلَهَا كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ

    31. When Our angels[71] came to Ibrahim with glad tidings [72], they said, “We shall surely destroy [73] the people of this city. Indeed, its inhabitants are oppressors [74].”

    Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 31

    وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَٰكِنِهِمۡۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَصَدَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَكَانُواْ مُسۡتَبۡصِرِينَ

    38. And We destroyed 'Aad and Thamud, and you have already known their dwellings [91]. The Devil (Satan) made their deeds appear fair-seeming [92] to them and turned them away from the path, although they could see clearly [93].

    Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 38

    فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡلَكِينَ

    48. Then they belied both of them and they were from the destroyed ones [75],

    Surah Name : Al-Muminun   Surah Number : 23   Ayat Number: 48

    وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا

    74. And how many generations We have destroyed before them, that they were better in goods and outward show than them [131].

    Surah Name : Maryam   Surah Number : 19   Ayat Number: 74

    وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا

    98. And how many generations We have destroyed before them. Do you perceive any of them, or hear from them a whisper [160]?

    Surah Name : Maryam   Surah Number : 19   Ayat Number: 98

    كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِيّٞ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

    52. Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh [122] and those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah destroyed them for their sins [123]. Indeed, Allah is Strong and severe in punishment.

    Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 52

    كَدَأۡبِ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَغۡرَقۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ وَكُلّٞ كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ

    54. The manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them [126] was that they had falsified the signs of their Lord. Then We destroyed them for their sins [127]. And We drowned the people of Pharaoh, and they were all unjust.

    Surah Name : Al-Anfal   Surah Number : 8   Ayat Number: 54

    قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيۡلَكُمۡ لَا تَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا فَيُسۡحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٖۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ

    61. Musa said to them, woe be to you, forge not a lie against Allah [73] that He may destroy you by torment and indeed, he who forged a lie remained unsuccessful'. [74]

    Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 61

    أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ

    128. Has it then not given guidance to them that how many a generation, We have destroyed before them that in whose dwellings they walk? [181]. Indeed therein are signs for men of wisdom [182].

    Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 128

    وَلَوۡ أَنَّآ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِعَذَابٖ مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَآ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَيۡنَا رَسُولٗا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخۡزَىٰ

    134. And had we destroyed them before the coming of the Messenger, then they would have necessarily said, 'O my Lord, why you sent not a Messenger [195] that we might have followed your signs before we were disgraced and humiliated' [196].

    Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 134

    قَالُوٓاْ أُوذِينَا مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَأۡتِيَنَا وَمِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جِئۡتَنَاۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يُهۡلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيۡفَ تَعۡمَلُونَ

    129. They said: "We were oppressed before you came to us, and since you have come to us [269]." He said: "It is likely that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land, then He will see how you act [270]."
