    وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ

    25. And indeed, We sent Nuh to his people, saying, "I [56] am for you a clear warner [57]."

    أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ أَلِيمٖ

    26. That you worship none [58] save Allah. Verily, I fear for you the torment of a painful day.

    فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرٗا مِّثۡلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِيَ ٱلرَّأۡيِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا مِن فَضۡلِۭ بَلۡ نَظُنُّكُمۡ كَٰذِبِينَ

    27. Then the chiefs of the unbelievers among his people said, "We see you as nothing but a man like us. And we see none following you but the lowliest among us, who act without thinking [60], and we do not see any merit in you over us; rather, we believe you are liars [61]."

    قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَءَاتَىٰنِي رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِهِۦ فَعُمِّيَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنُلۡزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمۡ لَهَا كَٰرِهُونَ

    28. He said, "O my people! Consider this: if I am on a clear proof from my Lord, and He has granted me a mercy from Himself [62], and it is made obscure to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it [63]?"

    وَيَٰقَوۡمِ لَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مَالًاۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُواْ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلَٰكِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰكُمۡ قَوۡمٗا تَجۡهَلُونَ

    29. And O my people, I do not ask you for any wealth in return. My reward is only with Allah. I am not going to drive away those who have believed; they will surely meet their Lord. But I see you are a people who are ignorant [66].

    وَيَٰقَوۡمِ مَن يَنصُرُنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِن طَرَدتُّهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    30. And O my people, who will help me against Allah if I drive them away [67]? Will you not take heed?

    وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمۡ عِندِي خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ إِنِّي مَلَكٞ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ تَزۡدَرِيٓ أَعۡيُنُكُمۡ لَن يُؤۡتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ خَيۡرًاۖ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ إِنِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    31. And I do not say to you, "I have the treasures of Allah [68], nor do I know the unseen [69], nor do I say, 'I am an angel [70].' Nor do I say of those whom your eyes disdain, 'Allah will not grant them any good [71].' Allah knows best what is within their souls. If I were to do so, then indeed, I would be among the wrongdoers [72].

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 31

    قَالُواْ يَٰنُوحُ قَدۡ جَٰدَلۡتَنَا فَأَكۡثَرۡتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

    32. They said, "O Nuh, you have disputed [73] with us and prolonged your dispute. So bring us that which you promise us, if you are among the truthful."

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 32

    قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأۡتِيكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

    33. He said, "Allah alone will bring it to you if He wills [74], and you cannot escape Him."

    وَلَا يَنفَعُكُمۡ نُصۡحِيٓ إِنۡ أَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَنصَحَ لَكُمۡ إِن كَانَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغۡوِيَكُمۡۚ هُوَ رَبُّكُمۡ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

    34. And my advice will not benefit you if I desire to advise you, while Allah wills to lead you astray [75]. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned [76].

    وَأُوحِيَ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ أَنَّهُۥ لَن يُؤۡمِنَ مِن قَوۡمِكَ إِلَّا مَن قَدۡ ءَامَنَ فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

    36. And it was revealed to Nuh, "None of your people will believe except those who have already believed [78]. So do not grieve over what they do [79]."

    وَٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَا وَوَحۡيِنَا وَلَا تُخَٰطِبۡنِي فِي ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ

    37. And build the ship under Our observation [80] and according to Our revelation. And do not speak to Me concerning those who have wronged [81]; they are to be drowned [82].

    وَيَصۡنَعُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيۡهِ مَلَأٞ مِّن قَوۡمِهِۦ سَخِرُواْ مِنۡهُۚ قَالَ إِن تَسۡخَرُواْ مِنَّا فَإِنَّا نَسۡخَرُ مِنكُمۡ كَمَا تَسۡخَرُونَ

    38. And Nuh constructed the ship, and whenever a group from his people passed by him, they mocked him [83]. He said, "If you mock us, then we mock you [84] just as you mock."

    فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن يَأۡتِيهِ عَذَابٞ يُخۡزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيۡهِ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٌ

    39. Then you will know to whom comes a punishment that will disgrace him, and a lasting punishment will descend upon him.

    حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ قُلۡنَا ٱحۡمِلۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلّٖ زَوۡجَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ وَمَنۡ ءَامَنَۚ وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٞ

    40. Until, when Our command came, and the oven [85] overflowed, We said, "Embark in the ark, a pair [86] of every kind, male and female, and your family, except those against whom the word [87] has already been decreed, and those who have believed." But none believed with him except a few.

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 40

    ۞وَقَالَ ٱرۡكَبُواْ فِيهَا بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجۡرٜىٰهَا وَمُرۡسَىٰهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

    41. And he said, embark therein; in the name of Allah, its course and its anchorage [88]. No doubt, my Lord is assuredly Forgiving, merciful.

    وَهِيَ تَجۡرِي بِهِمۡ فِي مَوۡجٖ كَٱلۡجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ٱبۡنَهُۥ وَكَانَ فِي مَعۡزِلٖ يَٰبُنَيَّ ٱرۡكَب مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    42. And it is sailing with them amidst waves like mountains [89]. And Nuh called his son [90], "Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers" [91].

    قَالَ سَـَٔاوِيٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٖ يَعۡصِمُنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَۚ وَحَالَ بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡمَوۡجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُغۡرَقِينَ

    43. He said, "I will take refuge on a mountain; it will save me from the water" [92]. Nuh said, "Today there is no protector from the command of Allah except for him on whom He has mercy." And the wave came between them, so he was among the drowned [93].

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 43

    وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرۡضُ ٱبۡلَعِي مَآءَكِ وَيَٰسَمَآءُ أَقۡلِعِي وَغِيضَ ٱلۡمَآءُ وَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَٱسۡتَوَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡجُودِيِّۖ وَقِيلَ بُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    44. And it was commanded, "O earth, swallow your water, and O heaven, withhold." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished. The ark settled on Mount Judi [94], and it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people."

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 44

    وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٞ رَّبَّهُۥ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ٱبۡنِي مِنۡ أَهۡلِي وَإِنَّ وَعۡدَكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنتَ أَحۡكَمُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ

    45. And Nuh called upon his Lord, saying, "O my Lord, indeed my son is of my family [95], and indeed Your promise is true, and You are the most just of judges" [96].
