37. Nay indeed [38], rather he has brought the truth and he has confirmed all the previous Messengers [39].you are deserving of the punishment.

26. O Dawood! Certainly, We made you a vicegerent [51] on earth. Therefore, decide[52] between mankind with justice, and do not follow your desire. Verily, those who go on the wrong(55) path from the path of Allah, will have a severe punishment, for they have forgotten(56) the Day of Reckoning.

17. That We might test [27] them through it. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will make him enter into an escalating punishment [28].

13. The day when the hypocrites [38], men and women, will say to the believers: "Look [39] towards us, so that we may take something from your light." It will be said to them: "Go back to your rear [40] and seek [41] a light there." Then a wall of separation shall be set up between [42] them, in which will be a door. The inside of it will all be mercy, and in the front [43] (outside) will be punishment.

20.Know that this worldly life is only a sport [63] and diversive amusement and an adornment, and a source of boasting among yourselves and a rivalry in multiplication [64] of riches and children against one another. It (this life) is like the rain whose vegetation pleases the tillers (65). Then it dries up that you see it yellow. Then it becomes (66) broken pieces. And in the Hereafter there is severe (67) punishment and forgiveness from Allah and His Pleasure (68). And the life of this world is nothing but a cheerful temporary (69) enjoyment.

4. Before this[3], as guidance for mankind, and He bestowed the Criterion [4]. Surely, those who deny the revelations of Allah [5], they will have a severe punishment. Allah is the Almighty, Lord of retribution.

11. (Their fate will be) like the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our Verses [19], so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment.

21. Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah [47] and kill the Prophets unjustly and kill those [48] who order justice from among the people, give them the tidings of a painful punishment.

56. And as for those who disbelieve, I shall punish them with a severe punishment [123] in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers [124].

181. Allah has indeed heard the utterance of those who said: "Allah is needy and we are rich" [412]. We shall record what they said and their unjust killing of the Prophets [413], and We shall say: "Taste the punishment of the fire."

188. Never think of those who rejoice in their doings and for which they must be praised [430] for what they did not do. Never think of them to be in safety from the punishment. And for them is a painful torment [431].
