44. They said, "These are confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams [100]."

45. And the one who was saved of the two said, when he remembered after a long time, "I will tell you its interpretation; send me forth [101]."

46. O Yusuf! O man of truth [102], give us the interpretation regarding seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green ears and seven others dry; perhaps I may return to the people, so that they may know [103].

47. He said, "You will cultivate for seven continuous years [104]. Then, what you harvest, leave it in its ear [105], except for a little that you may eat [106]."

48. Then after that, there will come seven hard years [107], which will consume all that you have stored up for them, except for a little that you may save.

49. Then after that, there will come a year in which people will be relieved by rain and in which they will press juice [108].

50. And the king said, "Bring him to me." Then, when the messenger came to him, he said, "Return to your lord and ask him what about the women who cut their hands? Indeed, my Lord is aware of their scheme [111]."

51. The king said, "O women, what was your intention when you sought to seduce [Joseph] [112]? They said, 'Holy is Allah, we did not find any evil [113] in him.' The wife of the Aziz said, 'Now the truth has been made clear [114]. I sought to seduce him [115], and indeed, he is truthful [116].'"

52. [Joseph] said, "This is so that [Aziz] may know that I did not betray him in his absence and that Allah does not guide the deceit of betrayers [117]."

53. And I do not acquit myself [118]. Indeed, the soul is prone to evil except for those on whom my Lord has mercy [119]. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and merciful.

54. The king said, "Bring him to me that I may choose him exclusively [120] for myself." Then, when he spoke to him [121], he said, "Indeed, today you are established and trustworthy with us [122]."

55. [Joseph] said, "Set me over the treasures of the land. Indeed, I am trustworthy and knowledgeable [123]."

56. And thus We established [Joseph] in the land [124], so that he could settle wherever he wished. We grant Our mercy to whom We will, and We do not waste the reward of the righteous.

57. And the reward of the Hereafter is indeed better for those who believed and were conscious [125].

58. And the brothers of [Joseph] came and appeared before him. He recognized them, but they did not recognize him [126].

59. And when he had provided their supplies [127], he said, "Bring to me your brother from your father. Do you not see that I give full measure and that I am the best host [128]?"

64. He said, "May I trust you about him in the way I trusted you before about his brother [134]? Then Allah is the best Guard; He is the Most Merciful of the merciful [135]."
